Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I like how I see my everyday surroundings in a whole new light when someone visits from afar.
I like the slight confusion that the mixing of cultures and languages brings. It makes me giggle.
I like the moments I realize that, even with the languages and cultures and all, we're not that different.
I like visiting different places, but I like visiting different homes even more.

I've heard great things about couch surfing from family and friends. (My brother and sister-in-law are actually a real life CS-couple, now with a CS-toddler!).
Next semester I'm planning on going backpacking with my husband, so I thought now would be a perfect time to try it out :-)

Intereses

Winter/fall: hiking, cooking, cozy cafés, skiing, binge-watching tv-shows, indoor-climbing, sleeping, quizzes&boardgames, discussing serious solutions to ridiculous problems/ridiculous solutions to serious problems over a glass of wine in a brown pub with good friends

Spring/summer: kayaking, snorkeling, sunbathing/reading, rock climbing, camping, scuba diving, barbecuing/picnics, boat trips, road trips

I'm really excited about getting to have some new people over.

We are more than happy to show you around town, do some fun activities, go out, or stay home to talk or play boardgames. (If you're planning on doing something fun outside of Bergen we might be up for sharing gas money and taking our tiny Toyota.)
That is, if our schedule allows for it (turns out they don't let you be a lawyer if you don't do any work).

If you're just looking for a place to crash we're happy to give you some privacy too (as much as you staying in our living room allows for :-)).
