ABOUT ME

I'm Cederique!
I have lived and studied in Ghent for 5 years now. We have
a little house in the city with 3 friends who are also students. Always fun!
I like travelling and meeting up with new people , that's one of the reasons I made this Couchsurfing account. It's fun talking about life experiences and showing each others city . When I travel myself I always try to meet some locals so i can experience the 'real' city, not just the touristic parts. I also like going to parties, always down for a good night to have some fun. Going from techno to a nice reggae place, I pretty much like everything as long as there is a good vibe :)
It's difficult to write something about yourself but when meeting each other we can get to know each other better and exchange our experiences , cheers !

PHILOSOPHY

When i give to people, i believe one day it will somehow return back to me in any form. I think it's important to help people when you can. When everybody does, life would be more easy :)
I just enjoy life and enjoy as much as i can, wherever and whenever! When i have time i try to see the world and just go to a place somewhere, in Belgium or other countries.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been Couchsurfing before and I like the concept a lot. Get to know each others' city a little bit better and give some advice about the city's nice places so you can explore it in a good and different way. I try to give and take, that's what it's all about in my way of thinking. I hope I get to meet nice people to share experiences. I have a place where you can stay and hopefully I can come to your place too!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have done it one time and it was so fun I made this account. Wanted to stay for only two nights but eventually stayed four days because it was so much fun. There were other couchsurfers staying over who were very nice people and we had a lot of fun. Great first experience ! My friends whom I live with also have CS experience.

Interests

I like partying, chilling at nice places , hanging with friends who play music :) Just discover the city in a nice way.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like seeing movies a lot, always down for a chill night at home watching movies with friends or my girlfriend :) Most of my friends play music, I don't , but I just enjoy listening to the music they play. I'm also interested in music and I always love to get to know new bands!

At our place there's music on pretty much all the time. What genre? I guess it depends, everyone here has has their own musical preference going from jazz & hip-hop to techno and house. We all get along when it comes to music though, and so far we've had some couchsurfers staying over with a really good taste. Though, if you want it to be quiet all the time, I don't think this is the right place for you!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been in America travelling around in California, it was a very nice experience of the culture and nature.

I've been snowboarding a lot in France in the winter with friends.

Have been travelling with friends around Europe. Two times travelling by train or hitchiking. My last trip was with a mini van. Have seen Spain, France, England, Germany, Netherlands, Croatia, Montenegro, Serbia, Greece, Macedonia, Bosnia, Hungary, Czech, Italy, Swiss, Austria, Poland, Portugal,..

And I want to see many more countries!

Teach, Learn, Share

I hope I can have good talks with the people I meet. I think couchsurfing is definitely not about staying for free at someones place. It's about sharing knowledge and talking about experiences. I always like to get to know new cultures or places and persons!

it also depends what kind of travel you do. If you for example just want to stay for a night without doing to much it's also good for me. It just depends :)

I'm a very open minded person! So shoot the question ;) !

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my experiences of Belgium. If you are traveling trough Belgium i can give you some advice of the places you can go to. Especially Ghent and Antwerp.

I have been traveling a lot trough Europe so i have a lot of stories to share. Hope to share some stories with you! I want to get to know other parts of the world because i'm planning to go on a trip around the world. Hope you can give me some advice.
