Overview
About Me
I'm genuinely interested in music, wine & food, humans, history, mathematics, science, space and technology.
I've been playing the guitar (mainly for my own amusement) since I was a kid and I love attending concerts.
I love spending a long evening cooking good food with good friends. I'm also a decent football player, a bizarre badminton player, bad card player, lucky mini-billiard player and an average fussball player.
I'm extremely enthusiastic about science, mathematics, AI and the future of earth and humanity. I love conversing about mostly anything that somehow touches upon any of these topics. I'm currently doing a Master in Machine Learning at the University of Guelph in Canada,
I was born in Iceland in 1992, I'm a dual citizen of Iceland and Canada.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people, I think there's nothing in the world that can progress our mental framework faster than learning the perspectives of other people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Going on an Erasmus exchange to Bordeaux in France.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach mathematics, a few guitar chords and possibly Icelandic (we desperately need more people to speak this language). I would really like to progress my understanding of languages and biology. I would really like to get better at playing the ukulele and growing avocado trees.
Apart from all these specific little things I genuinely enjoy embracing new ideas.
Learning shouldn't be any less fun than an interesting conversation over a glass of wine.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share wine, stories, laughs and new experiences! I'm definitely able to lend a hand or two in the kitchen and I love making new friendships.
