About Me
Hi!:)
I'm Maria, i'm 25 yo and I am form a little town close to Barcelona, but now I live in the city (a neighborhood called El Clot)
As everyone here, I love traveling (that's obvious). Besides, I love everything that involves creativity: I used to play theater, I enjoy dancing, I love writing, I really like handcrafting, and I like drawing too. Even I cannot neither sing nor play any instrument, music is one of the things I love the most. And... cinema is one of my passions too! I try to go to the cinema every week.
(But, of coooourse, my favorite way to spend time is hanging out with my friends. Good company, good conversations and laughs will always be the best choice!)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've just done it once, but it was such a goooooooood experience! :) So I'd want to repeat it again and again and again.
I sometimes feel like traveling alone, but I don't like to be lonely. So when you go on CS, you know that you have a home and a friend in every city you go (or at least my experience taught me that!)
I like to have a deeper knowledge about the place I am visiting, asking my host for hidden spots and nice places to visits, knowing more about the culture and history of the city / country. But, in my opinion, the best thing of CS is listening to new stories, to chat while having dinner and discover new points of view, to connect with a random person that otherwise you'd probably never known. It's better to exchange experiences, than to exchange money I think :)
Music, Movies, and Books
My top 5 movies is: Amelie, Cinema Paradiso, La la land, Big Fish and Pulp Fiction
I listen to all kinds of music but I love rumba, rock and flamenco above all.
In this moment I am reading a two books: the classic "100 años de soledad" written by Gabriel García Marquez and "Normal people", by a young writer callen Sally Rooney.
