I am from Juarez, Mexico (border with the US) and lived there until I turned 16, I studied abroad in Brazil for a year. Then studied two years of high school in El Paso, Texas, it's the city right in front of Juarez. Then I moved to Lubbock, a little college town in northern Texas for uni. Currently I am studying abroad in Munich, Germany for a year until August or so. Yes, I've been and will continue to be a nomad while I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am planning to backpack Europe for two months from mid-February to mid-April.
Looking for places at Porto, Athens and Istambul.

I believe the most amazing part of traveling is to understand different cultures, so when I go to a place I like to meet locals or at least people who have been living in the place for a while, having them tell me what food they like, what their daily lives are like and getting to know them.

I also believe that the best way to travel is to travel cheap, experience the city like a local, getting lost in the public transportation instead of paying for a cab, stay at hostels or couchsurf where you'll meet interesting people rather than fancy hotels.
