Overview
About Me
I would describe myself as a curious, openminded person who is always trying to see the positive side in things and people. I love trying out new things, getting to know new people and their points of view. Also, I like to look at things closely and critically, I love debating - which is propably why I started studying Sociology. At the moment I'm working in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, as a volunteer, organizing cultural events in the German cultural institute (Goethe-Institut) - and fell in love with Central Asia.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like the idea of sharing in as many ways as possible - sharing experiences, ideas, visions, interests, food, living space, ... In my opinion, sharing is one of the best ways to broaden one's horizon. That's why I like the idea of couchsurfing.
Interests
Besides my interest in sociology, politics and philosophy - which made me study Sociology - I love music, art and everything that has to do with culture. I've been playing the piano for about 20 years now and I'm quite addicted to classical music. Nonetheless, I also love other kinds of music, of course. Besides, I love analogue photography, drawing and painting, going to art galleries, museums, to the theater and so on. And I love cooking - as well as eating. And I love swimming, doing yoga, being outside, ... Well, there's a lot of things I can get into.
