About Me

Like probably everyone on CS I love travelling and I'm always happy to meet new people. If you say dancing I say yes!! ;-)
Frida Kahlo is one of my favourite artists and I'm a coffee-addict...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Even when I'm registered on CS since years I just started to use CS when I've been to Cape Town for an internship and I really appreciated the events and the community in Cape Town. I met lots of lovely people and now I'm trying to host people in my hometown whenever it's possible.
I believe that CS is one of the best possibilities to bring people together, no matter from which country, cultural background...
And I like the idea to get out of my personal comfort zone by sharing my little world with strangers who become friends sometimes...

Interests

I love music, especially reggae, jazz and afro-beats (Bukahara, Dengue Dengue Dengue, Raging Fyah, The Souljazz Orchestra to name a few) and I'm always keen to get to know new records from all over the world. Besides I'm a fan of seeing plays on little theatre stages, I love poetry slams, concerts and pub quizzes, beer-pong, festivals, hikes...
I'm a member of the local Amnesty International students group.

Music, Movies, and Books

As I said before: reggae and jazzy tunes are my favourite, but I like music in general, no matter if it's indie, electronic, alternative, hip-hop or rock music. Some of my favourite bands and musicians are Will And The People, alt-j, Giant Rooks, Jamie XX, Bergfilm, The Cat Empire, Romare, Fakear, Rodriguez... [I think I could easily continue this list until tomorrow]
I'm not so much into series.
My favourite author is Julie Zeh...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The four day hike to Ciudad Perdida in Colombia was definitely one of the most amazing experiences, but I think sometimes the little things in life are so much bigger than expected...

Teach, Learn, Share

I always try to improve my language skills. English and Spanish speaking folks feel free to teach me. My Spanish skills are still very very basic... ;-) In exchange I can teach you German of course...

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to eat, in consequence I need to cook (vegetarian)... Everyone who stays at my place is invited to have breakfast, lunch, dinner supper or at least a cup of coffee with me...
