Hello! I'm Laura, the crazy bacteriologist, as my family says. I am from Colombia. I really love my job and learning things about my profession. I enjoy dancing, studying, laughing, spending time with my family and friends, enjoying gastronomy from different parts of the world (I'm passionate about food) and last but not least traveling. I love to travel, however, I haven't done it for a long time because I focused on studying until I finished my professional career. And now that I am practicing my profession, I finally have the opportunity to travel again and fulfill one of my biggest dreams. I think traveling is one of the most magical things you can do. Discovering new places, cultures and people is amazing for me.

I always enjoy the little things in life, the hugs from the people I love, the morning coffee, the rainy days (the sunny ones not so much because I get migraines), listening to music while I walk in the street following the rhythm of what sounds in my headphones and read a book while I'm on the bus on my way home or to work (even when they tell me I shouldn't), but what I love most madly in the whole world is being an aunt, I have the best nephews in the universe and I love them with all the strength of my being. My nephew is 11 years old and extremely smart and loves astronomy and dinosaurs. My niece is 20 months old, she loves animals and is already a traveler, she will surely be using couchsurfing really soon.

I believe that love has no sex, shapes, colors or borders. Love is the most powerful force that exists and I firmly believe that you can love whoever you want.

Now I came up with the great idea to do intermittent fasting to improve my health and habits but right now I am starving and I don't think I can write anymore.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I think that it is a great way to get to know many cultures, since there are many people who, due to their occupation, it is not so easy for them to travel, but couchsurfing allows them to discover the world thanks to cultural exchange, which is something extraordinary.
Currently, my mom and I, we are planning an amazing travel to Europe (i never was there and i'm extremely excited about it). My sister used Couchsurfing for more than 10 year and she an my mom used couch in 2019 together and they have a lot of amazing stories. I deeply want to visit a lot of new places and learn about the culture, gastronomy, custom and every think you can teach us.

Música, películas y libros

About music i listen almost everything, but i looooove dance so i really enyoy latin music, reggaeton, salsa, merengue. Music define absolutely my mood, so if i'm sad i need sad music, same if i'm angry, crazy, nostalgic or happy.

My favorite movies of my chilhood are Harry Potter saga, i still watching the movies everytime i can. But now i love Quentin Tarantino, David Fincher and Christopher Nolan movies
