About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To fight the Leviathan
ABOUT ME
Heartless liberal, music passionate, headbanger, jazz lover, audiophile. Fighting European communism every day.
I grew up in Venezuela but I've been living in Europe for the last three years and even though I haven't found a place I can call home yet, I feel much closer to find it around here than where I come from.
PHILOSOPHY
As a true libertarian I live and let live: I don't criticize anyone by their preferences and life decisions as long as they don't affect my own life.
My ultimate goal in life is pure hedonistic enjoyment.
Interests
I love having interesting conversations and getting to know people from different cultural backgrounds and viewpoints.
I love music, I play piano. I love metal, jazz and trip-hop.
I also like to stay fit.
I love traveling, check my instagram account http://instagram.com/carlsousa

Music, Movies, and Books
I love progressive metal, technical death metal, symphonic black metal and many other metal sub-genres.
I also love jazz, in particular contemporary jazz and free jazz to a certain extend.
I also love trip-hop bands like Tricky, Massive Attack and Portishead. You can check my lastfm account http://www.last.fm/user/carlsousa
I'm not such an avid reader but I have enjoyed a lot books like Iluminatus the Trilogy, The Fight Club, Choke (also from Palahniuk), 100 years of solitude (one of my favorites), Interview with the Vampire, The Lord of Rings. I read a lot of economics and philosophy though.
On movies among my favorites are: Matrix, Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill, A Clockwork Orange, The Big Lebowski, Reservoir Dogs, The Usual Suspects, Inception, etc.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've drunk whisky with coconut water in a Caribbean beach.
I helped to find the ransom money to pay for the express kidnapping of a friend's brother.
I lived in a romantic trio with no sex involved.
Teach, Learn, Share
I always try to learn from each person I meet but I also love teaching (in fact one of my dreams is to become a university professor).
During the last three years I've been living in international communities with people from all around the world where I have learned and I continue to learn and teach back every single day. From complicated economic models, passing through nutrition, training and English grammar to how to know when a pineapple is ripe (a simple trick from the tropics)
