Couch surfing is an opportunity to not only embrace a place you visit but it's best quality "the people". You get to learn from the very best, those special someone's who have lived there and experienced their country for all it's qualities, good and bad. We too often forget when travelling that it is about ticking of some un-achievable list off "to the must do's and sees' and we forget the truly remarkable must see is the people. Being blessed in enjoying home style hospitality, housing, company and being shown the secret gems of their city that only the 'locals know'. I love couch surfing as I feel like I am truly exposed to another side of travelling which deepens the path of learning on my journey around the world.
