I'm actually travelling myself, so sorry but I can't host you in Hamburg!

Hi,
my name is Hajo and I´m 27 years old.
I studied wood science in Hamburg, Germany and after that Forestry in Freiburg, Germany and in Edmonton, Canada. I like to do sports and be outside. Back in Germany, I worked as an adventure park instructor and tree climber and triathlon coach. I like to eat mostly vegeterian and I'm a non- smoker, therefore I eat a lot of chocolate, pancakes and bananasmoothies :).
Travelling: I did one longer tour in 2014, when I did a cycling tour from Vancouver, Canada south to San Diego, California. After that I went to Costa Rica, Ecuador, Bolivia and Chile. I also did a longer internship in Vietnam combined with some traveling in Cambodia, Laos, and Thailand. In 2017/2018, I studied for one year in Edmonto Canada. Since August 2018 I'm traveling again going slowly south from Canada, US West coast and Mexico, where I'm actually (Nov. 2018). I'm planning to going further south to Guatemala and Belizen and then to Colombia and Ecuador. I really want to improve my Spanish and staying with locals is always the best way. Happy to meet you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Mostly to meet locals, and new friends and also it's way more interesting and fun than other sleeping possibilty places :)

...Hotels are boring and expensive
...Hostels are sometimes interesting but after some time always the same. Drinking, play some games try to sleep with 10 other snorring people.
...Van: Have no van
...Tent is cool, if the weather is ok an when there are not 10 noisy racoons around you.

Couchsurfing: Meet a great person, cook together, speak about the country, learn something about the culture. Find a new friend in another country - that's always cool :)
