Hi, I am Mathieu from France. I have never travelled before, and this project to discover South America by myself is going to be my first real trip. People who know me would say that I am a quiet person who can have fun with interesting and happy people :) I am looking forward to finally leave my country, to open my mind to the world, to other people and culture.

I discovered couchsurfing reading blogs etc. from travellers all around the world.
I think it should be a wonderful experience to open my door to the world and to share our culture or just to give help for a night or two.

Interests

I used to play poker -which is one of my passion- to finance this trip. I stopped working two years ago, tired of working for the others.
This choice gave me a great liberty, making me able to see my friends, to go on holidays with them and to do sports (soccer and tennis)..I also love reading any sort of books, and listening to reggae or rock music, and I really enjoy meeting new people.

I really like reggae music and rock too !
