Overview
About Me
I'm more of a homebody rather than going out to parties and clubs, but I do like cozy cafes and observing the flickering lights of the night life in big cities. I prefer close one on one conversations and genuine laughs rather than huge group hang-outs, and I'm usually shy with new people, but regardless I do want to step out of my comfort zone and meet new and interesting characters, because I know that once I get to know someone, I develop a great and usually long-lasting quality connection with them :) Therefore I like meeting new people, I think travelling and meeting new people are the best ways of getting to know yourself :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am diving into the new waters of travelling on my own and I want to meet new people on my way, spend a nice time hanging out at different local places, get to know local cultures, try local food, hear local stories and just explore :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Music is such a big part of my life, just listening to sounds somehow adds 'something' to my life. I like a lot of different styles which mainly depend on my moods and moments in life, and picking a favourite would be like asking a mother of three to pick her favourite child :D my most recent discoveries and musical crushes - Tom Misch and Sylvan Esso.
With movies I'm usually seeking for a good story, as well as beautiful shots. I love good dramas and psychological films, I like animation as well as comedies and I will also watch a silly chick-flick every now and then, honestly it also depends on my mood :D (you can probably tell already that I'm a very mood-based person)
Now I find it harder and harder to find the time and sit down with a book, but I love the feeling of reading a book that makes you put aside everything you have to be doing and just keep on reading till its finished :)
Currently I'm reading a Lithuanian book which is simply a conversation between a psychoanalist and a philosopher.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Went on Erasmus, travelling alone and also hiking on the biggest active volcano in Europe - Mount Etna (Sicily, reached 2500 metres).
Teach, Learn, Share
I recently got into cooking (I used to hate it), and I have a few recipes up my sleeve by now, which I'm more than happy to share and maybe get some kitchen tips and tricks from you too. (I'm a huge foodie and I eat vegetarian/vegan food). I'm also trying to learn Spanish, so if you're into that - I can share my basic knowledge or we can learn something together :) And I recently got into acro yoga, so we can fly together!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share a laugh, my food and coffee (which I looove, so if I share it, it means I like you), my time (which is so valuable for all of us, since we have no idea how much or little of it we have) and hopefully great experiences :)
