Overview
About Me
Filmmaker and film lover, I like to take my camera everywhere. I like to play instruments, to meet new cultures and traditions.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think if you visit a new place, you have to meet the people there. Customs and traditions are what make a city or country unique.
Interests
MOVIES! Music, photograhpy, drawing, cooking, playing guitar & endless little hobbies
Music, Movies, and Books
Indie and alternative rock mostly. Foals, The Xx, Muse, London Grammar, Daughter, Kings of Convenience, Tlaking Heads, The Whitest Boy Alive, Kasabian...way too many bands to be named.
Film is the best thing to have ever happened to me. All Kubrick movies! I also love Wes Anderson and Tarantino. Favorite movies: The lives of others, Amélie, Fight Club, Children of Men, Birdman, Boyhood.
I like dystopian novels (Lord of the flies, 1984, Brave New World, Fahrenheit 451, etc) and Gabriel García Márquez. I secretly (not so secret now) love teenager and young adult's novels. Always looking for a good book.
Tv shows should be included here right?! Breaking Bad (ftw)! The Sopranos, Friends, True Detective, Adventure Time, Avatar...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Went to Austin City Limits with my friends last year, people over there are awesome! Keep Austin weird!
Teach, Learn, Share
I would be more than happy to teach my native spanish, since I consider it to be a very rich language. As a mexican ambassador I carry with our majestic culture, so I'll bring food or mezcal if I can to any destination.
I recently learnt the beautiful craft of tattooing and would be glad to do a small piece for my host!
What I Can Share with Hosts
If you are lucky and I have my guitar with me, I can teach you how to play simple songs, I know how to cook different mexican recipes and as mentioned before, would love to give some express spanish lessons.
