One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My last wooden fishing boat sunk during a three weeks long trip by the coast of northern Norway. I and my younger brother were rescued by the coastal express ferry. Hordes of germans stood with big eyes on deck, as we were lifted onto the ship in a small rescue vessel. Aboard we were served spaghetti bolognese, and then the captain gave us a free lift home with them for the next few days.
Before the journey, I had renovated the boat for a while, on land. There is a plug you take out to tap off rain water. If you forget to insert the plug again later, the boat will sink. Amazing, huh?
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach crab fishing. I generally like learning.
