What I like to say about me is that I have a really bubbly personality. I always have a smile on my face, and I laugh at lot. I'm hopelessly optimistic and I like to daydream. I consider myself to be particularly nerdy, but I'm a sociable person as well. Coming from a numerous family, I really consider my privacy and personal space.
I'm a book lover,my library is like my second home. My hometown librarian is like family to me.
I really love music, in fact I used to play ethnic instruments such as: marimba, xylophone and vibraphone. I played in orchestras and bands.
Painting and drawing relax me, so when I need some time alone I like to do that.
I enjoy cooking, gardening, opera, museums..
I'm fascinated by languages - besides English and Italian, I speak Mandinko (west African language) and I have an understanding of French and Spanish. I would like to learn Arabic and Hebrew. I prefer listening rather than talking, unless I have something to say.
I'm incapable of hating, I would help my worst enemy if s/he needed help.
I'm hard-working, passionate,determined, loving and caring.
I'm still human and I'm not perfect, but I always make sure to fix my mistakes or learn from them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Besides the economic benefit of the program, I really love the fact that I could match with a friend I didn't know to have in the country that I'm visiting. :-)
If you host, you can meet people from different backgrounds, cultures and languages without having to travel; if you are hosted, you get to know more closely how is life in the country that you are visiting.

Interests

I used to paint,draw and create patterns for fabrics as well as painting portraits or creating sculptures.
At the end of the month,I will start studying towards my undergraduate degree in Global Health and Social Medicine at King's College London. My career goal is having a position that would allow me to coordinate effective plans during humanitarian and disaster crisis.
My interests are mainly: international issues, human rights, global crisis, capitalism, environment..
I'm not always that serious though, I can enjoy the fun things of life as well!
