About Me
ABOUT ME
I love the ocean, and everything that has to do with it. I love outside sports: hiking, rock climbing, bicycling, camping, surfing, scuba diving, kayaking...all of those things that sound dangerous! I love animals. I have three big dogs and three cats. I really like salsa and bachata, and going out to dance is great fun. I am passionate about books, coffee, tea, good wine, and gourmet cuisine. I consider my self a really good cook and enjoy cooking for my friends. I basically try enjoying everything in life.
PHILOSOPHY
Don't stop until you catch it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am shy at first, but when I get a hang of things and people I become very outspoken. Really easygoing, calm...love to joke on tragedy, don't see the point on moaning and getting down.

Music, Movies, and Books
Name all the things I like is almost impossible. I like light movies that will put me in a good mood, movies with social criticism, classics....I love The Godfather!!
With music is the same. I like Latin American music, jolly and hot (salsa, bachata, cumbias, huapangos, son jarocho), full of nostalgia (Mercedes Sosa, Lyla Downs, Sabina), with a social and critical note (Calle 13, Cartel de Santa, Machete). I worship Gustavo Cerati, Café Tacuba, Orishas, Jarabe de Palo, Juan Luis Guerra.
There are so many books. My latest favorite is The Selfish Gene by Dawkins. Laberinto de la Soledad, 100 años de soledad, La isla bajo el mar, How to kill a Mocking Bird, The Once and Future King, 20,000 leagues under the sea, Paula, Hija de la Luna, and so on, and so foth...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
That I don't know. Maybe learning how to ride my bike was the first thing I was really proud of. Learning how to scuba dive is something that has given me a lot of joy, getting into a Master's program is something that fills me with pride; but maybe the best thing I've done is adopting my youngest dog. We found each other, cured each others wounds, and meshed two hearts into one.
Teach, Learn, Share
You learn something from everyone, even the real dicks, and I believe you teach something to everyone you bump into. I share everything in my life, I'm an open book, don't see the point of closing your self to experiences.
