CURRENT MISSION

Currently back in Slovakia since June 2016, having break from travelling, but still like getting to know people, world, countries, nature and me :). Searching for my place in this world :).

In October 2014 I quit my job and went travelling with my boyfriend Michal https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/michal-takacs. With 2 breaks in Slovakia we travelled for 20 months, spent 5 months on Sicily, summer hitch-hiking around Germany, Switzerland, France, Austria. 5 months in Australia during Australian summer 2015-2016 and couple of weeks in New Zealand, Malaysia and Bali.

Lot of times we wwoofed or helpx-ed at interesting places, couchsurfed with wonderful people and got to know other beautiful people, beautiful places and countries that stayed in our hearts.

ABOUT ME

I love nature and being in nature (plants, forests, meadows, hills, and also gardens :)). I spend a lot of my free time walking in countryside or organic gardening. I love good fresh healthy food and vegetables :).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have met several couchsurfers. They are all wonderful people and have had very good experiences with couchsurfing. So in 2015 I finally got the courage to try couchsurfing too :).

And it was definitely worth it!!! So far I only couchsurfed as a guest and I have met such nice and wonderful people as hosts!!! I would definitely like to continue getting to know other awesome people and therefore participate in cuchsurfing as a host when I finish my travelling period and get some place where I can host.

Music, Movies, and Books

- funny movies (sci-fi, fantasy, comedies, animated movies..) and funny series
- best music is real live sound of guitar and friends singing around fire :) At home I listen to calm music (Enya...), something older (Abba...), or happy (Shrek soundtrack :D)...; I have never had a deeper interest in (popular) music
- I used to read much but now I think I should apply what I read -> so: less reading and more doing. I used to read books about permaculture, books which make me think about life and some books for fun

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just normal life :), but for me fascinating anyway ;)...
- Finished my masters in physics, quit physics, moved to a smaller town (Banska Bystrica), found work there as java programmer, quit work as java programmer to went travelling :).
- travelling for 20 months, wwoofing, helpxing, couchsurfing, hitch-hiking, getting to know the world, people and me.
