Hi I'm Kimia! I'm an American-Finn living in Helsinki. Studying business and working as a barista. Im a very excited and happy person, especially when it comes to travel, movies, and meeting new people. I've travelled the world a bit, but there's always more world out there to see!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I absolutely love meeting new people from different cultures. I don't have the opportunity to host anyone right now because I'm in between places. But I am really excited for the opportunity to meet new people by surfing. I'll be in Belgium for the next six months so I hope to do a lot of traveling in that time.

Interests

I love travel. I find it interesting to see the differences in cultures, languages, and food in different parts of the world. Whenever I travel I make sure my camera is with because I take photos of everything! I'm also really into watching movies and learning more about how they're made and who's starring in them, just sort of a side hobby. My main hobby is coffee! I work in a cafe now and I hope to open up my own one day. I also LOVE horror movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Fell asleep during my layover in Ukraine on my way to Dubai which resulted in an impromptu 24 hour adventure in Kiev!
