ABOUT ME

Hello folks, I am from Izmir, Turkey. I'm an outgoing and friendly person who likes travelling abroad or not, meeting with new people foreign or not. I love different cultures starting from my nation's own and that also makes me another good accompanion, friend and a guide.

I'm also an artist, I'm a multi-instrumentalist musician who plays the bass in the first place but also can play the drums, keyboards and classical guitar in a good level. Correlated to that, I'm also really interested in various types of art itself, such as music, architecture and paintings.

Another thing I really love is history, I love knowing my own; my land's, my nation's, my country's history just as loving the others'. I love learning about the history about the place I'm going. Actually, I simply love learning about history of the Earth, wherever it is about. And I like to combine the facts I learn about a place's history with that place's culture.

I've decided to use this site, as I've been in a student-exchange program 2 years ago, met a German family there, and in my last trip to Europe they have been some good hosts for me and helped me through my trip even when I was away, and I've seen that this helped a lot instead of paying huge amounts to hotels for short periods of time...

I travelled many times in Europe, 7 times. Namely going to, Germany, Netherlands, Greece, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Austria, Bulgaria, Slovenia. Even though 2 or 3 times I have stayed with some locals, I never used couchsurfing.

Anyways, I'm looking forward for my future travels, and to host or to be hosted.. Thanks in advance !
