Hi all!

First, it is a little difficult for me write in English yet, so I am sorry about the mistakes in this text.

My name is Juliana and I am Brazilian. Speaking about me is not a very easy task. So, I asked to my friends to say some words. According them, I am sympathetic and friendly (ok, they are my friends, they like me). Sometimes I talk to much (it is because I am a Gemini, it is not my fault hehe) (and I do not know a lot about zodiac, because I don't like about the idea of a destiny that we have to follow - I like to create my own path - but I always use my zodiac sign to explain my need to communicate). But I am not boring or inconvenient, I am fun (also according to my friends hehe). I am also very critical about social issues and polite. And according to me, I am clean and respectful of others' space. Also, I like to go out for a couple beers, watch movies, dance (samba, electronic, funk and contemporary dance), exercises (I do a little about yoga and circus) and poetry (especially poetry slam).

To finish, I will write a little about what I do. I work with research and I have an infinity curiosity about the political resistance against oppressive systems. Because this, I search social movements, gender and race. In the last year, I was searching the process of political organization of the prostitutes of Guaicurus (one of the biggest areas of prostitution in Brazil, and yes, they use the term "prostitute" and not "sex workers"). I also worked in Izidora, the 8th biggest land urban conflict in the world. Right now, I am interested in searching the knowledge produced for the social movements, especially black latin american feminism.
