About Me
For me, life is our most important gift and how we have got the means to manage it in the best way possible.
That is why I have decided to live life to the fullest, looking for new adventures, new challenges, new places, new cultures, new acquaintances, new friendships, and all other pleasant experiences life can offer. For me, the most important aspect of experiencing new things is that it enriches my personal and spiritual life, making me a better person.
Well, it is kind of weird to talk about myself, but I will be the more truthful and objective I can. I am a very extrovert and charismatic person, I make friends easily, love to chat about any subject, and I enjoy meeting new people, always looking to grasp a little bit of their experience and share a bit of mine.
I am very interested about other cultures, I love meeting foreign people so I can learn a little bit about another country’s history, culture and habits.
I like partying and drinking (beer, especially) with my friends. I also enjoy cooking, honouring my Italian descent, I usually prepare pasta for gathering family and friends. In my family, we say that “it is always good to have a full house”! All that on the sound of good music, and I am a very musically eclectic person: I like almost all styles, but specially classic rock, rap, reggae and electronic.
I am currently living in Italy (Calabria) to learn more about the culture of my ancestors and the surrounding places.
I work as an engineer remotely, so whenever I have the opportunity to explore a new place, I always go. 😃
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I first knew of Couchsurfing by a friend of mine, who made a trip through Latin America. He knew lots of places and cultures, and showed me how is it possible to know new people and have an extraordinary interchange of experiences while travelling.
I have hosted some couchsurfers in my house, and I enjoyed this great experience, specially when the guest is from a foreign country. In my view, Couchsurfing is the perfect way to know new places, because you get not only accommodation, but a great cultural exchange experience.
Interests
I love sports, I often go the gym, I practice Jiu Jitsu occasionally and enjoy running in the outdoor environment, specially if there is the sea.
I always gather my friends to hang out, chat, have a good meal or a good wine or beer. I love all kinds of cuisines, and I am always eager for new gourmet experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy watching movies, for me cinema is a real source of fun, specially action, comedy or adventure movies. Music is motivation for me, that is why I am always listening to something nice. I am not really into books for fun, I do read, but I prefer to read academic stuff.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climb a 5.500 mts mountain in Peru.
Teach, Learn, Share
Knowledge is one of life’s most precious gifts, but that does not mean it is to be kept safely hidden. It is always good to be humble (we never know too much!), to seek for more knowledge and to share it with others.
Life is a circle, not a square.
For me this is very simple: what we do in our daily lives, for good or evil, is what we will receive back in the future. That is: always do good, be good, never hurt anyone, be generous, run after your dreams in a honest way, with focus and faith to reach your goals. This way, everything will be in your favor, and you will be successful.
For me every person has good and bad qualities, and the most important is to respect everyone. I always look for the good side of people, not judging them for their faults. I have friends of every sort, so it is not a matter of liking or disliking a certain kind or group of people, but each person in particular.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Whenever I have someone over at my house, I like to cook a typical dish, accompanied by a wine to welcome them, get to know the person better, and share a bit of my story. I enjoy giving tips on places to visit, but I also respect when the person already has their own itinerary.
