Overview
About Me
I'm a Homo Sapiens Sapiens born in Madrid in 1993. Half Spanish, half Scottish and a citizen of the world. How could I describe myself in 3 words? Crazy, stupid, love. I'm usually a calm type of person and I like to think that I adapt very well to any situation.
I belong to the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster. I respect everyones beliefs and expect people to respect mine. I will not respect you if you don't like pizza.
I am currently studying Mechanical Engineering in Madrid and my three favourite drinks are: tea (morning), coffee (after lunch) and beer (evening).
Conversation topics with me can be about nearly anything. I consider myself quite a techy guy so we could talk about the latest trends in computing. We could just talk for hours about music, films or cooking recipes. Or we could just enjoy the silence, becouse it all depends on the situation. Also, I don't really like superficial conversations.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm surfing becouse a friend recommended it to me and I believe it's a good option when travelling alone (I currently am). I mean, instead of staying in hostels, why not stay at somebodies confy house and share experiences?
I'm not currently letting my sofa back in Madrid but I will when I get back. I think this is a give and take situation (just like torrenting).
Interests
In my free time I usually play video games, read or watch films. I like to hang out with my friends and sometimes play some football. I like going out clubbing on the weekends and going to alternative clubs.
I absolutely love music and I consider it the soundtrack of my life. I play the bass and the guitar as a hobby (I'm just ok, not a great expert).
Cooking is also a thing that enjoy doing. Yeah, people be like "I'm too lazy to clean up all the dirty dishes after". Just put some good tunes, clean as you go and enjoy the gourmet experience with your drink of choice (mine is beer). Just remember: you are what you eat.
Ok, I'm not kind of a sports man (I don't go to the gym or play sports on a team), but I do walk aroung a LOT and do a lot of cycling.
