About Me

CURRENT MISSION

No mission whatsoever!
Just desires.
Making the most of everything, anything. Doing the utmost to travel and share things through travelling - with people. The more, the merrier. Etcetera and so on!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because that's the best, cheapest, most interesting, most enjoyable way of traveling - that's why.

Interests

I'm interested in multiple things, including the most mundane little things you could possibly imagine and think of.

So this is the part where I talk about me right?
Here it goes:

I'm not materialistic, pessimistic, earnest, success-seeker, etc.
Not a wannabe, a dreamer; I don't think I'm a mainstream romance person.

I don't believe in any dichotomies (like for instance that of elite vs masses), in the existence of a higher culture, race or civilization
There are too many complex reasons which go beyond our simplistic understanding and deterministic logics, besides nothing is permanent or static.

A revolution?

I am an art person, a film lover, an easygoing guy.

I belong to the water.
I'd be biking everywhere I go.

I'm very receptive to photography and appreciate books, whether literary or philosophical - but if you keep those "keys to success" and how-to kind of books away from me, that would be great.

I'm not the most outgoing person on earth, but I do enjoy going out from time to time, and when I do I'm game for everything, we could spend the night/day out doing anything.

I'm not really a loner, but I do appreciate having time (and space) for myself. I could actually enjoy being reclusive, it makes me think better, be creative - it helps me with my writings - and take a small distance from overwhelming reality(ies).

I'm definitely not a snob, but I do take likings to fine arts, cultures, stylistics, etc. So I might seem/sound snobby when it comes to music, cinema, architecture, cuisine, etc. which is false.

I'm hardly a people person, but I love meeting new folks, talking to perfect strangers, hanging out with new buddies and old friends.
People are fine, I just can't meet so many at once, don't feel comfortable being with so many on the same occasion.

Two things I like (and enjoy reflecting upon) most:

*Humour: jokes, private jokes, sharp wit, diverse forms of witticisms and so on are most welcome. Through humour we know best one another.

*Difference: we're different, we're not identical -thankfully- but we're equal. You don't just accept difference, that's utter bullshit, who are we to accept and accept not? One rather starts by understanding what being different - BEING OTHER - means, then tries to appreciate it because the Other -necessarily a different person to whatever extent- can actually bring many things to one's incomplete self, they can complete oneself for that matter.

By no means, a resume or a bio, just words that could help introducing myself (and how to introduce oneself is an interesting topic per se)

NB: I could use your reference - written in your own language would be even better, because English references are "too mainstream"

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once changed my life,
where I was going,
long story...

but I'm definitely liking this new path.

Teach, Learn, Share

I teach only my students. Loving this job.

I learn from and share things with everyone, except obnoxious/patronizing people whom I tend to avoid conversing with, from the very start.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Myself, to start with :)

Drinks, meals, I can cook.
Oh, yeah, a spare bed to sleep in, because that would be of great use for a guest.
Many things depending on how we actually get along.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, England, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey

Countries I’ve Lived In

France, Tunisia
