In my youth I used to spent a lot of time with hipi society. I used to travel on the other side of country and stayed with someone I barely knew. There you sightseeing town, party together. A lot of my fellows are here, on this portal. They are having guest from other countries and also are guest in other countries. It’s them who showed me Couchsurfing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Interests

I’m having scientific mind. I love to fathom knowleage from natural science, the most from the astronomy, geology, physics and geography. The thing that also fascinate me is technic. I’m computer scientist by trade. I work in the collage and I deal with artifical intelligence. I like people who can interestingly talk about history. The thing I have no idea about is sculpture and painting, apart from if it shows some constructions or notion of some phenomenon. I can’t understand poethry, exception is singing poetry. :D

Music, Movies, and Books

I’m fan of rock music from 70’ and 80’. My favorite bands are: Queen, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Doors, Led Zeppelin… ok that’s enough ;) I like fantasy and sci-fi books. But in case of sci fi I like it better when it’s more sci than fi. eg. “Dune” by Frank Herbert. Exception is Star Wars, then the stuff like sound reverberate in void I can accept :D I’m big fan of Wiedźmin universe. I love literature of popular science like A Brief History of Time: From the Big Bang to Black Holes by Stephen Hawking and documental and environmental movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2008 I go round all Poland on my bike. I ride 18 days. I slept every second day at some fellow of mine or with someone I’ve met on rode and the other second day in sleeping bag at some bushes. I rode as long as I had strenght. I slept in the place I’ve reached. The moment I woke up I was back on my bike and followed the road. There was the times when weakness took on me, like on this day it rained. I had no idea what day is today. When people asked me, I respond I took my road on June 20th. The look at their face, priceless. :D
