My religion is love of life and enjoying the small things in life because I know that they really make the big things happen afterwards. Although I never know what the big things might be unless they simply happen. And it usually comes out that it was the thing I have wished for. I completely fell in love with these moments couple of years ago when I started traveling and I couldn't forget this feeling since then.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

And that is one of the reasons why I am on Couchsurfing: I never know how the things might turn out, whom I would meet and what to see. But I know that those things and feelings will be exactly the ones I was looking for when I didn't know what I am looking for.
Couple of years ago I used to find meeting people quite difficult for me as I am pretty introvert but traveling has helped in this so much. Sometimes you might even be surprise about your own decisions and actions while traveling and i think that is one of the only true ways how to know ourselves better.

Interests

Books, climbing, playing the guitar as a way of curing myself as well as entertainment. Traveling as getting along with myself. Jogging as body's attempt to escape from soul who is sometimes pretty whimsical thing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While working in Scotland for a month couple of years ago, I met some amazing people from Czech Republic and I became interested in their language and culture. I took people as a measure of characteristical features of country and I got curious about if they are right or no. So here I am now: many years later, still studying Czech language and culture. And I love it all.
And the funny thing is that it was just because of a nice first impression about a country. I was so amazed about this fact that I would like to be someone's nice impression about my beautiful country because Latvia is a nice place.
