About Me
CURRENT MISSION
OMG this first question is soooooooooo difficult!
Very tall guy.
I don't play basketball (I'm giving you the answer to the second question I get asked all the time after how tall are you?)
I miss living in a foreign country...
Well I'm a guy in my early 30s who now stopped working as an engineer in energy efficiency for buildings after 8 years doing that. I grew up in the countryside in the north east of France, studied in Nancy and in Linköping (Sweden) for a year, then I also lived for 6 months in Freiburg (Germany) and I now settled in Strasbourg although I'm constantly asking myself if I should go live abroad again...
PHILOSOPHY
There are so many things to discover around Europe that I'm first focusing on travelling around here. I'll go visit the other continents when I'm positive I've seen the most important and beautiful places in Europe.
I tend to want not to have a too strong ecological footprint and greenhouse gases emissions during my trips, although it is sometimes difficult.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've been living in Strasbourg for almost 8 years now and I love this town, I think it is fantastic and I occasionally have some spare time to show people around.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've been hosting quite a few persons now since I signed in on CS, most of them where very happy with it and the ones who weren't well... I took care of them... haha, JK! I also did it a few times as a guest and I only had good experiences!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music:
Mostly metal / rock music / Irish folk / Russian and balkanic folk , but I listen to many other things, except for r'n'b and the shity autotuned crap that's played all around the world on radios and in nightclubs.
Books:
Science fiction and crime fiction, mostly but also nordic mythology and Icelandic sagas, and some French classics
Movies:
I don't especially enjoy the blockbusters
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- Watching northern lights while I lived in Sweden! Northern lights are simply amazing!
- Going to 2 System of a Down gigs! AWESOME!
- Living for 10 days in the Siberian taiga with lake Baikal as only means of showering!
- Wrestling a bear! (alright, one of these is not true but I'm not telling which)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can sing and teach you Irish folk songs! They are the best!
What I Can Share with Hosts
A good beer, because we rarely go out of beer at our place.
