My name is Sara. For the past few years I have been living abroad, which has allowed me to experience different environments and meet lots of interesting new people. I like to meet people in the places I visit or live, and couchsurfing is a great platform to do that. In my free time I really enjoy spending time outdoors, specially playing in the mountains - climbing is one of my favorite things to do. I also like to grab a drink with friends in a terrace or so and just hang out. Best to combine both - a nice hike/climb and then a rewarding beer!

I think Couchsurfing is a great way to travel in a more engaging way getting in touch with local people and sharing my experiences with them. I'm also looking forward to host other travellers and show them what I know as well as to listen to their stories!

The moment I saw the maya city of Uxmal for the first time, after having done some research on it for several months and written a story set there.

Hitch-hiking through Nova Scotia, I had some of my best couchsurfing experiences there!

I can cook some nice foods, including some typical Spanish or Basque dishes. I'll be respectful and take care of the space where I stay. I like to have a nice chat with the hosts and I'm open to do some activities together if the hosts are interested too!
