For me it's the only way to travel.
Booking an all inclusive hotel, drinking coktail in the swiming pool of the hotel, eating a fat burger in the restaurant of the hotel, going tu the club of the hotel : No way.
In all my trips in Brazil, Thailand and Canada I chose this type of travel.
Meeting people, share about culture, food, travel, drink, sport...
My most good memories in travel are not beautiful landscapes but beautiful moments spend with people (soccer in Sao Paulo, beach Party in Thailand, baseball game in Canada, meal in an american farm, pub and beer in a Ireland).
I love surprise and thanks to couchsurfing you don't know what kind of evening you can spent.
