Heys guys,

my name is Lorenz. I live in Vienna and would be happy to be your host.
I was born in Austria (Styria) and moved to Vienna about 5 years ago.

If you are a coffee drinker, we can go to a typical old Viennese coffee house.
Coffee is awesome, tea is also awesome. I love coffee, ask me anything about it, i will try to answer it.
In Austria, coffee is sometimes it´s own science xD

You can always talk to me and ask questions, but please don´t wonder, when my answer is sometimes a bit shy at the beginning. It could be a bit awkward for some people, but no worries, it´s just me, being strange ^^
What´s kinda interesting, if you would meet me at work, you wouldn´t even realize that I am a bit shy xD
I work as bank advisor specialized in specific kinds of organisations and there I have to talk a lot.

I don´t drink alcohol. If you want to pub crawl, I can join you and show you different places.
Drinking alcohol near me, is no big deal at all. But you always have to think about it like this:
If you drink too much, it could be that i make fun about it on the next day, because your sober host, is remembering the night before ;)

The environment is really important for me, so I don´t have a car. Having a car in Vienna just to drive around in Vienna is useless. The public transport is much faster and really good here, I also repaired a bike from the 1950s to drive around (I love my bike :D but a few things are still to work on) and walking is healthy, so we will walk a lot^^.

Two years ago I was diagnosed with a major depression, that´s kinda sh****y, so I try to help people by openly speaking about it. So if you have any questions about it, how it feels, what did I think during the worst parts of my depression, feel free to ask. This is my way of helping others to understand this illness a little bit better, because most people are afraid to talk about it or are afraid asking questions to a depressed person.
ONE IMPORTANT THING!!! If you have a depression or you just feel really really really really bad ,sad, helpless and you just think that it could be a depression, go to a doctor as fast as possible. I am not an expert in treating that illness!
And for the manly men here, you are not weak for looking for help, if you would break your leg, you also would go to a doctor.

That´s it (It´s definitely not everything, but in the moment i can´t remember more about me and stuff xD )

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My exgirlfriend and me went for a few months to Central America and used her account there.
Now I want to give the favour back and also want to host guests in Vienna, to find new interesting people and stories, learn about different cultures and having a good time with you :)
