ABOUT ME

I'm Axel! A 20-year old from Sweden. I've been travelling a lot recently. But now I'm studying spanish in lovely Madrid. Before this, I travelled through Central America with my friend. That was quite a trip. We experienced everything togheter - from passing out in each others arms on the bed of El Salvadors richest family to searching each others asses from creepy insects in Costa Ricas djungel. That's what friendship is about...

I'm a cheerful, social, friendly and humorous guy. I'm very curious and open to all different kind of people. Life would be so boring if we all were the same. I'm always up for all kind of adventures, but do enjoy just relaxing time aswell.

I love to watch good movies, meet new people and do the most spontaneous things that life has to offer. I've played football (soccer) since I were 7, and do often play tennis. I do also like to work out.

PHILOSOPHY

I don't think to much about what the purpose of my existence is. Just try to live life and do things that makes me, and the people around me, happy. At the end of the day, that's whats most important.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I used couchsurfing when I were travelling in Central America, and got to see so much more of the genuin side thanks to that. The best memories of my travels were created with other couchsurfers - no doubt.

Interests

Travel, meet new people, learn about different cultures and religions, watch a good movie, listen to music, spend the night out at a nice bar and most of all; be spontaneous and do things that I didn't plan to. That's how good stories are being made.

Favorite movies: One flew over the cuckoo's nest, Taxi Driver, American Beauty and Burn after reading.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Got really drunk on Brooklyn's highest rooftop. Manhattan skyline is, if possible, even more amazing after a couple of beers - trust me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you Swedish and English and everything else that you want to know about my beautiful (but cold) country. And I think that people learn from each other without knowing it, just by sharing experiences.
