About Me

I am an Engineering student who wants to work with something related to education. I love to travel and to take good pictures around the world, while meeting people spontaneously. I prefer nature rather than city and a good talk rather than loud music.

I am a really organised person that likes to help whenever is possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to meet local people instead being hosted in places that there are only for tourists. I like to talk and know more about the city. Unfortunately, I can't host people nowadays because I still live with my parents and there is no place in the apartment. But as soon as I have my own place, I would be glad to host people with different cultures that can teach me a lot!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Decided to live in Portugal for three months to work on a non-traditional public school (Escola da Ponte). When got there, I found out that I wouldn't be able to work because of an error made by the government that hired the less qualified teachers in the better qualified public schools. After that, they fired them all and reapplied the public tender. The amazing thing about it is that I stayed at Porto for three months without anything concrete to do, but I couldn't have had a greater time. I grew up a lot with that experience.

- Climbed a dune with my father and brother without any shoes in Namibia. We thought that it was ok to do so, but when we got to the top, at 12:00, we found out it was not. Our feet were burning so bad that my brother and I gave our shirts to my father so he could tie them on his feet and go to back to the car to take our shoes.

- Spent two weeks working on an ecological farm in the middle of Israel.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share good experiences and photos, as much as good Brazilian music, drinks (if I am able to, I can bring some cachaça)... I love to have deep discussions about cultures and different ways of life.

I am not a cooker, but I am quite good on doing the dishes!
