Overview
About Me
Masters student, studying the Netherlands, originally hail from India.
I am pretty much like Santiago from Paulo Coelho's 'The Alchemist', travelling in search of a 'treasure'!
My persona is somewhat torn between a wise old man and childish young kid!
Super easy going, more often wear a seemingly funny smile, likes experimenting with myself with the intention to better myself!
Striving hard now to escape 9 to 5 jobs and eventually travel full-time!
But then for someone who is super excited while travelling, I am ridiculously-directionally-challenged, who doesn't panic when lost!
Many, if not all of my travels so far, have been solely down to my weird intention to re-trace the footsteps of lead characters from the books I've read, movies I've seen! And I like to associate the places I've visited, pictures I've clicked with the poems or quotes I've read in the past.
A decent photographer too!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I plan to use CS as a means to meet people and travel new places.
I intend to meet interesting/inspirational/weird/funny characters of different age groups, beliefs and ethnicity who'd make me feel small about not having traveled much so far, point me to my next travel destination that would be worth making memories in addition to sharing life lessons!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
kept my word to my father, against all odds!
This story needs justice, maybe I can share it in person & not here.!
Teach, Learn, Share
Well I can teach 'How to make a Biryani!', a royal dish that found its way into India all the way from Persia! Or help master the game of Chess!
In Bruce Lee's words, I am more like water! So basically willing to learn anything that I can and interested in!
would really share some good time together!
What I Can Share with Hosts
- Beers or Gin!
-Awesome stories about the South-Indian state of Tamil Nadu (where I hail from!)- its culture, rich heritage and why it is among one of the awesomatic places to visit in India.
- Can cook super tasty Indian food with the right spice levels ;) (provided you take me to a right supermarket first!)
- Being a good photographer, would really be glad to click pictures of the hosts or plan a brief photoshoot of sorts.
- Maybe some Dutch souvenirs!
-Others that I can share with the hosts can't be bought with money!
