Love the idea of couchsurfing! Makes life so easy plus it's a great opportunity to get to know people and citys! I think an exchange with locals is the best you could do when going abroad because you receive such a different view about that city and people's habits. Also love the advises which lead you to not only do all that touristy stuff.
