About Me

Smiling all the time! Fan of silly puns, music, gigs, playing the guitar, and watching British football. I'm also open minded and very accepting.
At the time of writing this I'm on Erasmus in Paisley, Scotland. I have a Ba degree in Communication & Media Studies, currently studying Sociology MSc.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My friend introduced me to this, he's been accepting guests for ages from all over the world in Budapest. When he's travelling he's using couchsurfing almost every time. I've met some of his surfers, all of them were really nice & interesting & fun people, so I want to get involved somehow too!

Interests

I'm listening to music pretty much all the time - mostly punk rock or british indie stuff. I love playing the guitar as well.

I'm also a football fan, I'm supporting Manchester United.

Also, I'm quite fascinated by most of the stuff coming from the UK, especially the huge variety of accents!

Music, Movies, and Books

My first Favourite Band as a kid was Green Day, and I still love their music, also, through them I could discover a lot of other amazing bands as well.
So, I like similar stuff, like Against Me, Sum41, Idlewild, Slaves, Anti-Flag, but I also love to find some small new bands to listen to, for instance, definitely check out The Big Moon!

I like to watch TV series sometimes, I think I know every line of the US version of The Office by heart, and I mostly watch similar stuff, like Modern Family, I also enjoy John Oliver's last Week Tonight.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well it's not a huge achivement or anything, but it was a pretty big deal for me to meet Green Day onstage in Vienna, 2013, in front of about 25 000 people. It was surreal!

Teach, Learn, Share

Well I can teach you Hungarian language if you want, or a couple of things on the guitar - but I'm not an expert! :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I wish I could say I can make you food, but I think we both prefer to eat something else instead, I mean, something that can actually be eaten by a human being. But if I have food I'd love to share it with you! I'm great at ordering pizza, I've practiced that a lot!
I can also share some drinks with you, but most importantly it would be great to just hang out and chat. I really like deeper conversations as well, I open up easily (especially after a pint or two, but that's not necessary either). It's kind of a cliché, but communication is actually important for me. I like to know when I'm alright, to make sure everything's okay and we're cool, but I also want to be told if someone's having any problems with me - that's the only way to start fixing them!
