About Me
Hello! I’m Natalie, a travel, nature and food lover from Germany. Born and raised in Berlin.
I love meeting people from different countries and cultures and share thoughts, experiences, adventures, meals..
I fulfilled a dream of mine last year and got self-employed as an interior designer which gives me the freedom now to work from anywhere.
This way I’ll be moving countries the next months to explore more places whilst working and living.
I’m currently back to Berlin until autumn before I’ll head out to California to live there with my boyfriend for some time.
I'm a really optimistic, easy-going, spontaneous and responsible person. I would say that I’m a good listener as much as I really love a good conversation!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is the perfect opportunity to explore new places all around the world and at the same time meet new people and get best tips from the locals there. I love learning about other cultures, countries and listen to peoples stories!
Had so many good experience here so far and I actually met one of my very best friends though this platform - It’s amazing :)
Interests
I’m passionate about dancing. At the moment I’m learning salsa and I would be happy to teach you some steps or just to go out for a salsa party. As I’m from Berlin I’m into nightlife with all the clubs and parties as well.
I’m an absolute foodie. One of the best things when traveling to new countries is the food there.
As an active person I just love going on hikes, skiing, climbing, cycling or swimming.
Depending on my mood I also love to just meet in a Café with friends and have a good conversation or just be by myself reading a good book or writing.

Music, Movies, and Books
I’m really easy when it comes to music..almost listen to all kinds. Maybe except heavy metal and Schlager ;)
Just depends on the mood what I‘m up to listen to.
In Berlin I often go to concerts, I really enjoy live music.
When it comes to books I enjoy reading different genres, mostly interested in stories which are based on true occasions. I’m also writing a blog and my first actual book which my personal goal is o publish one day. Not to make a lot of money with it but just for myself. Definitely a passionate reader and writer here
Movies...too many good movies. Some of my favorites are: „ The green book“, Another round“ and „where the Crawdads sing“.

Teach, Learn, Share
When I visit but even more when I live in a country with a completely different culture I at least try to learn the basics of the language. Think that’s just an respectful thing and such a different experience to be in a country and be able to communicate in there language.
I’m happy to teach some German too as well as some salsa! 💃🏻
Let’s cook together and share some good travel stories
