About Me
Hey there,
I finished my studies last year and startet working as a teacher of biology and geography here in Cologne. I try to spend my free time to read, learn an move. I like to question things, my own values, believes and life goals. I am very critical with western civilization, yet I enjoy very much the freedom in Europe.
Overall i love sports and movement such as going climbing, hiking, playing beach volleyball and pretty much anything outside. Thats why i bought a tent some years ago with which i love spending nights outside. You will sometimes catch me sleeping in the woods.
I just learned french right now and i am willing to be a lifelong learner. maybe you can teach me something as well. I think that every experience is a gift in your life and in my opinion one should every now and then move outside his common everday practices and go travelling, meeting new people, exchanging thoughts, celebrating and enjoy life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I really love to meet new people ever since I was an exchange student in the USA.
I enjoy cross-cultural experiences and still volunteer for the organization with which I went with and work with exchange students which gives me a lot.
Yet it makes me want to travel too and couchsurfing seems like a good thing to do. Hostels and hotels are expensive and anonyme and you have no chance to get to know locals. So lets share, our couch, experiences, laughs, everything ;)
