About Me

Hello, Noah here.

I am a young Danish traveller and frequent volunteer. I finished gymnasium ( High school ) in summer 2016, worked until January 2017 and have been travelling and volunteering my way through Latin America ever since. Now I am heading for the US of A, and with a good energy and little to no money, I am hoping you can help me on my way through this country of yours.

Though introverted by nature, I am an open and laid-back guy, and enjoy exchanging stories, perspective, views, you name it!

Looking forward to meeting you, whoever is reading this.

Philosophical Quotes I Like:

"Live for yourself and you will live in vain;
Live for others, and you will live again."
- Bob Marley

"The proletarians have nothing to lose but their chains. They have a world to win. Workingmen of all countries, unite"
- Karl Marx

"Life is not a problem to be solved, but a reality to be experienced"
- Søren Kirkergaard

"Should I kill myself, or have a cup of coffee?"
- Albert Camus

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Living cheaply is of course one aspect, but the main reason is meeting people who shares the same mindset ( suprisingly not many people are willing to share a couch with a stranger ), and experiencing the country I am travelling to first hand.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a massive nerd when it comes to movies, tv and books. Those are topics that never run dry.

I am not that knowledgeable in the field if music, but I do really enjoy the classics ( Beatles, Stones, etc. ) and stuff like Manu Chao, Bob Marley, hang and instrumental of many kinds ( I guess you can call it stoner music ).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While in Peru I did two ayahuasca ceremonies. Without a question the most mentally violent, humbling and life changing experience I have ever done.

Teach, Learn, Share

Nothing specific, but as everyone on this planet I have an interesting life story, though only a 20 year old one.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My company is one hell of gift! ( slightly self-ironic )
