About Me

MY STORY
I am an entrepreneur from Slovakia (Central Europe). My story begins 1,5 year ago, when my second business failed. There were 2 different ways how to look at it. I could either say to myself that it was not my fault that there was not good situation on the market, i had bad luck, my customers were supid etc. OR I could blame myself and take responsibility. One truth about mysef: I really hate loosing and failing, i really do. Because of this, I was really angry at myself and I took full responsibility for failure and I really wanted to learn from it as much as possible, so I would never do so stupid things again.

What I realized was absolutely eye opening and it changed my life. I realized, that for my whole life, I was soooo much influenced by my fears, that I was using only very tiny part of my true potential. I realized that I had these big walls of fear around me so I could barely move anywhere. My thinking was really limited, I thought about many things as impossible and unachievable for me. Fortunatelly I realized that this is just ridiculous.
For some time I was searching for ways to destroy my fears (one of the biggest were: what other people will think about me, how they will look at me etc.), until I was inspired by great guy Jerome Jarre, so I started to challange myself and I started to do crazy things as: singing in the bus, laying on the street full of people, screaming in the coffee shop that I love one beautiful waitress (wtf :D) etc. I even recorded few on Vine, so if you want to see really awkward stupid stuff look here http://goo.gl/kH6KdO I even had speech about this on CEE (central and eastern) Toastmaster competition of public speaking (I had huge fear of public speaking) so I can send you this video if you will want to see more awkward stuff haha

I really started to enjoy challanging myself in variety of things, for example my new challanges are to jump from the bridge (something like bungee jumping) afther that jump from the plane (free fall 4000 meters) and I also challeng myself in travelling and in business.

PHYLOSOPHY

get out of comfort zone, as far as is possible
do what is impossible

If you can dream it, you can do it.

One of the greatest discoveries a man makes, one of his great surprises, is to find he can do what he was afraid he couldn't do.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I looooove to meet new people, travel, experience new cultures and HAVE A FUN

This is my first time on couchsurfing, I have right now abolutely no experience with it, altought couple of my friends are couchsurfers and I also met several couchsurfers.

What I also love very much is learning, so I think that the best way to learn about new country, culture and people is to directly experience it, so that is another reason why I am here :)

Interests

Except business, entrepreneurship and finances, I deeply love music. I was playing on trumpet, flute and bassguitar for some time. Now I have just started to go on salsa courses, as I really love latin music and dancing (and women of course haha)

Besides these activities, I deeply enjoy cycling, running and football.

And of course I love challanges haha

Music, Movies, and Books

As I mentioned I really like latin music, but I like also jazz, tango music, classic music, pop, hip pop, dance-club music (Martin Garrix). It depends on my mood and on what I am doing during listing whether it is working, studying, dancing ...
Movies I really enjoyed:
Limitless
The Bucket List
Click
Bad Boys (all)
Ice Age (all)
the christmas kiss (now I feel super awkward :D)
X-Man (all)
Inception
The Matrix
Finding nemo
Pirates of Caribbean
Sherlock Homes
...

It is little bit more difficult with books, because when I am reading books I usually read with purpose to educate myself. Just to mention few:
Lean Startup
Intelligent investor
The everything store
Delivering happines
Power of habits
Steve Jobs: A Biography
The Snowball
Good to great

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I challenged myself to go to Vienna, which is approximately 80 km from my home town with one way ticket without the phone, money, any contact there, without ability to speak german with only small amount of food and drink and get home at evening. I came there at 9 a.m. in the morning

How I was able to get home, at 7 p.m. I will tell you during drinking beer :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you stuff I learnt about business, entrepreneurship finances etc I can also teach you something about playing on trumpet or other musical instrument, hopefully I have not forget everything. What I can also teach you is about your comfort zone and how to get the f*ck out of there. All of these things I am learning myself (except playing on musical instruments right now) and I am realatively still on begining with it, but if I will be further than you, I will be more than happy to help you.
I will really want to learn about your country and city, about local customs. It would be great if you could show me your city and hang out for some time :)

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary
