About Me

Hi there!

~ currently living in Sao Paulo ~

I'm not very good talking about myself but I'm spontaneous, observant and I'm always looking for something that gives me butterflies in the stomach.
In case you like astrology and star sign like I do, I'm Gemini. In case you don't, basically it means I'm an easy going person: I like to party hard, but I also like to spend nights just talking about life in good company plus beer or wine. Anywhere can be fun - it's all about who is with you there.

I don't follow any religion, but I like those who believe that we are not superior to nature, we are just part of it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

1. I love to know people from other countries/cultures. My city is not a touristic spot so CS is the best chance for me.

2. I had such amazing CouchSurfing experience while backpacking in Europe in 2014, when I lived in Lisbon. It was my first time travelling abroad and thanks to CS I met special people who allowed me to know cities in a unique way and most of the time, unconventional way - exactly how I like it! More than new places, we shared thoughts, laughs and our ways of seeing life. That's what I'm looking for now I'm planning my vacation to travel abroad again.

3. I understand if you are host and don't have much time to hang out with me. Of course I like company, but I'm always prepare to do all alone.

4. I don't mind giving up a tourist spot if you tell me that you know a secret place that can't be missed. That's the magic of travel for me!

P.s: You won't find references from all my hosts because most of the requests were sent by a friend who was traveling with me.

Interests

I love to travel. I know it sounds cliche, but it's true. When I moved to Lisbon and backpacked abroad, I realize there is much more good people in the world than bad people. This world is huge and beautiful, so why would I stay my entire life in the same place? We all have short time here, let's make the most.

I'm starting to study photography by my own and I'm very interested on it.

I love aerial silks and I've been practicing over two years now. Check my photos to see some tricks :)

I also love to dance. I'm serious - don't take me to a club if you don't want to dance.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - I don't have a favorite kind of music, it depends on the moment and my mood, but I love listening to live music and discovering new artists. I also like to create playlists on Spotfy.

Movies - I really like SiFi and independent movies, but also like some 'commercials', like Hunger Games. I also like documentaries about political and social situations.

Books - Several types - from Nicholas Sparks (it was only one, I swear!) to Shakespeare. Some writers that are on my bookcase: Milan Kundera, Saramago, Platão, Étienne de Laboetie, Adélia Prado, Osho.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being alive.

Ordinary answers but not less amazing:

- I saved a dog. A few weeks later, the guy who adopted her told me she gave birth to 5 adorable babies. So I saved an entire family without knowing. Yes, I love animals.

- I won a scholarship to study 6 months at Lisboa University during my college. Portugal gave me great new friends, crazy nights, countless outstanding sunsets and the feeling that I was exactly where I supposed to be.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach - Dance samba and others Brazilian rhythms; Portuguese and the cultural immensity that is my country (Brazil is much more than Carnival).

Learn - I would love to learn something about photography and improve my English to stop creating words doesn't exist hahaha

Share - I can share tips about Portugal and Brazil, good moments and lots of brazilian music.

What I Can Share with Hosts

- A good company! My English is not that good, but I'm nice anyway hahaha
- Brazilian candies such as brigadeiro and paçoca.
- I'm not a good at cooking, but I can be the best assistant ;)
- Lots of brazilian music.
- Help you care your pet.
