About Me
The major turning point in my life was to go to Budapest as an Erasmus student in 2014. Spending a year abroad changed the way I see things. I realized that there's a lot to discover out there. When I came back to Turkey, I felt like it wasn't the place where I wanna spend the rest of my life. I started trying to use every single opportunity to go abroad and keep discovering new places, getting to know people and cultures. I am currently doing Erasmus internship as translator at Sygic Travel in Brno, Czech Republic
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I don't have any siblings. I've never had to share my room with someone else growing up. When I first lived in a dorm with many people and started to share my room with others, I got to know a lot of people with different backgrounds and made friends that I still keep in touch with. I consider Couchsurfing as a great place to meet new people. It's always an experience to remember.
Interests
I love drawing and illustration. I'm also interested in graphic design. I've always wanted to become an artist, yet couldn't study art and follow that career path. Somehow, I ended up studying translation & interpreting. I kinda regret it. But it's never too late!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love listening to indie and alternative rock. Red Hot Chili Peppers, Muse and Arctic Monkeys are some of my favorite bands. To be honest, I love pop music too. I enjoy blasting hits from Maroon 5, Lana Del Rey, The Weeknd.
As for films, I enjoy blockbusters from major studios like Marvel. I also admire films by Christopher Nolan and David Fincher. Lost, Breaking Bad, Suits and Shameless are some of my all-time favorite tv shows. Friends, The Office and Modern Family are the holy trinity of sitcom for me.
When it comes to books, I love crime novels by Harlan Coben. Kazuo Ishiguro and J. D. Salinger are two of my favorite authors.
