About Me
CURRENT MISSION: Pursuit of Happiness
ABOUT ME: Born & Raised in Buenos Aires, and eating birthday cake every 18th of January. I'm very sociable, and really easy-to-deal-with (huge fan of positive mindset). I love reading while having a nice cup of red wine, drinking Mate early in the morning or wandering around just enjoying the ride (also a TED Talks fan).
I am passionate on disruptive creativity, inclusive business and social impact projects. That's what I would like to work at, for the rest of my life :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
For now I'm planning my US Trip, and don't have much room back at home so I'm not really able to host a lot, but as soon as I settle down I will definitely put an available couch to host anyone!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None! But I am eager to catch up :)
I've created my CS Account because when you are about to travel, it is probably the best way to kill 2 -or 3- birds with one stone. First, you save money (this is probably the key-driving motto), then, you get to know the city from the point of view of a local (and you'll probably find out about that excellent irish pub, or that folk bar you would have hated not-to-know when you travelled), and also you meet local people, from every place you visit, and instead of recommending places to visit, you can recommend families -or folks- to visit.
Interests
I am interested in sustainable development, and in politics that pursue a more socially inclusive future as well as more sensible with the environment and with ourselves.
I love finding info -and sharing it in a talk-about everything related to exponencial technologies, B corporations, social impacts and the world of wine-making.
I also love cooking and eating (if it's homemade, better!) and solving things with a DIY mindset. I like party, but just once in a while (I'd rather have a just-poured Drought Guinness while having a great conversation)

Music, Movies, and Books
Regarding music, I love Argentinean folk music (The Chalchaleros, Duo Coplanacu & alike) as well as all kind of danceable party music. My favourite radio station is Aspen 102.3 (purely 80-90-00's classics)
Best Comedy Shows: Big Bang Theory, Friends and Sony's 'Whose Line is it Anyway'?
On movies, best -and impossible to defeat- is Patch Adams. Zoolander and'I am Sam' complete the winner's podium.
On books, I've recently read a couple of books and delighted me.
*A World without poverty, by Muhammad Yunus
*How to change the world, Social entrepreneur and the power of new ideas, by Daniel Bornstein
*Why Nations Fail, by Daron & Acemoglu
*Abundance, by P. Diamandis and S. Kotler
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In August 2012 I did 'The Camino of Santiago', a historial on-foot pilgrimage in northern Spain. I spent a 30 day journey with a friend, walking 25-30 kilometers per day, where all your belongings what you could pack in your rucksack and as you had to carry the bag, the least the best (at least for your back & shoulders).
I started in the French Pyrenees, then passed through big cities like Pamplona, León or Burgos, as well as tiny villages where all you had was a Bed & Breakfast to sleep, a bar, a church and couple of houses. Probably it was one of the most incredible life experiences I've ever had -and lived to tell about it!-
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach how to cook our typical "Argentinean Asado", (and I would love to, as I'm always the AEO -Asado Executive Officer-). Also how to prepare and share our national beverage "The Mate". As I am interested in B Corps, Social Impact and Singularity University projects, I would love to teach/share this kind of mind-blowing projects.
I would like to learn how to prepare new meals, the art of wine-making
What I Can Share with Hosts
On sharing, for me there's nothing like sharing breakfast (-and mate) in the morning, or a couple of red wine cups before/after dinner.
I think that recommending (and sharing) books is also another way of letting peolple to know you (as you are sharing your interests). That's why in the last months I've taken up gifting books & wine, which I find an excellent gift option.
