Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think Couchsurfing is one of the best ways of traveling, meeting people and cultures from all over the world and sharing experiences.

Interests

Apart from traveling, I like listening and discovering new music, watching movies and meeting new people. I sometimes play the piano and ukulele (sort of). I also like playing chess (kind of addicted right now, though I'm quite bad haha) and I normally play online. If you enjoy playing chess, of course I would like to have a match with you.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really like listening to music. I mostly listen to pop and folk, but I'm always open to listening to new music. I enjoy artists such as Sufjan Stevens, Yo La Tengo, Fleet Foxes, Beach House or Bon Iver, but I'm always looking for new recommendations even if they are from different styles : )

For a very long time my favorite movie was Mr. Nobody, but I haven't watched it again in a while, so I don't really know if it is still haha
But talking about directors, Tarkovski is the maaan

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing how diverse the world and the culture are, and even so, people can share their moments and have amazing experiences.

When I was 17 I decided to go backpacking alone around Europe for 2 months. I discovered many things, places that I never thought I would be able to see, and many interesting people that enriched my trip in different ways. I've never had such an incredible experience before. It was a life-changing adventure and each day was the happiest day. Since then, I decided that I wanted to travel as much as I could and that if I was able to help other people, I would do it too.

We can play chess and we can also have a profound and long discussion/analysis regarding potato chips and their different flavor possibilities

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook popcorn in a pan without burning them (they are tasty and beautiful)

And of course Music, Mexican culture and I can teach some Spanish too : )
