Hey everyone!

(Sorry I can't host for the moment because I will start a big backpacking journey and I will probably work abroad, once I will have I place it will be easier to host).

My name is Gwen, I travelled a lot when I was a kid. In 2012, I started my interior design in Canada for a couple of month, and after coming back in France to finish my studies I decided to go and travel in South East Asia.

After this big travel I worked in freelance for 3 years in my area. But now it's time for me to go again on the road, for a longer time and hopefully found a work experience in other countries.

About myself, my personality..
I'm easy going and have no problem to get along with people, I'm always curious about other people's culture and way of thinking. I'm an adventurer and never afraid to try new things. If I can help I will do it with pleasure.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's maybe an easy answer but it is true. It's just about sharing, understand people, share our stories, cook together, to discuss and live with other people style. Of course if I can help I will do it with pleasure!

Interests

I'm still learning about photography and I would like to take the opportunity with this travel to become better at it!

I also love drawing, actually I draw as far as I can remember, and one of my project is also to make 'bandes dessinées' French comics book.

I love trekking too, and appreciate to camp in nature and walk for hours just to enjoy a great view instead of sleeping in a hostel in a big city haha.

During my travel in Canada, a guy offered me a flute and I'm starting to learn that too.

Music, Movies, and Books

Regarding music, I'm not a big listener but I like it anyway. I'm quite open anyway but I especially like folk, pop and international style music.

About book, I of course love comics book such as "La vie devant soi" also "D'amour et de poussière".
I like drama book about history, psychology complex stories in a word!

And movies are quite similar to book. One of my favorite is "captain fantastic", "la Vita è Bella" and "I origin".
Still really complex movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Always a difficult question to answer. It's not a main adventure to tell it's more about anecdotes I experiences.. I have so many and can share with a beer of course.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach drawing and also any kind of architecture softwares.
I can also teach French if you want!

As I said above I want to learn flute, so if someone know I will be delighted to be taught.
I think it is also interesting to learn cooking, I like cooking for sure but cook with locals would be awesome.

Sharing travel experiences, which I find it really important and also family reunion, even if it's not my own family because it's about discovering how live people, to learn about life. I'm just fascinated when people share their life's stories.

What I Can Share with Hosts

As I said it's more about sharing first and of course I would be glad to help in the house, we can cook together, I can also teach French!
