Hi, I'm Michelle!

I have lived in Connecticut all my life and am finally starting to travel, both inside the US and outside.

I work at Yale University in New Haven, CT. I have a house 3 miles from New Haven and have 3 cats that I love to the end of the earth.

I love trying new foods and drinks and I love exploring and meeting new people!

I was fortunate enough to have tried couch surfing for the first time Nov-Dec 2014 during my trip to Europe. It was an amazing experience! Having the opportunity to spend time and learn from the people in the country made the experience 1000X better.

Now that I know what being a good host entails, I want to try offering my place!

I have a house in Hamden, CT which is the town next to New Haven, easily accessible from a 10 minute bus ride.

I work Monday-Friday, so weekends are better for me in terms of spending time together, but week days are okay too. I have 3 cats and the most important thing is that they don't go outside! Accepting responsible pet people only :)

I love trying new things. I am an avid exerciser (weight lifting, skiing, running, bike riding, etc). I enjoy good food, good people and having fun any way I can.

A comfortable place to stay and some advice on what to do/see in New Haven, CT.

There is a separate room with a travel mattress. I have blankets and towels. If you want to cook, you can use my kitchen.
