Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To discover myself and learn about different local cultures while travelling
ABOUT ME
People often describe me as a calm person, but one who engages himself in a lot of challenges and dives into a lot of interests. I take a lot of interest in learning about the local culture and customs, because even though a book might describe a place, it's different when you experience it. However, don't expect a boring bookworm, because I am also a fan of outdoor activities. Want to visit a museum? No problem! Want to do a hiking or a biking trip? I am your man!
PHILOSOPHY
I am probably a bit "too good" for my "own good" as my father describes it. Personally, I belief that one who shows kindness will get it repaid twice. In my case, this usually manifests in the form in me not forgetting about my friends (no matter whether they are new or old friends) and to help them out when they need it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have yet to experience any couch surfing experience
Interests
Reading, but also to get to know things about the local culture. While books can tell you things, the experience itself is a different story! I also like outdoor activities, even though I might not look like it. I love to cycle through areas, because the bike gives me so much freedom.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Mainly listening to orchestral music composed by Hans Zimmer, Thomas Bergersen, Audiomachine, Two Steps from Hell, and so on
Books: Ranging from popular science such as "Predictably Irrational" by Daniel Ariely to a simple light novel or manga.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing I've done in my life was probably accepting the internship in Germany. My half year stay in Braunschweig has taught me a lot of things and I'll never forget the time I had there with my friends.
Teach, Learn, Share
Sadly enough, I don't have a lot to teach, except for maths, or science related topics (I gave supplementary lessons to high school students a couple of years ago). But I am always eager to learn new things, whether they are related to science or culture, I am open towards it in order to gain new cultural experience.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can tell you all about my past travel experiences. (Too bad I did lose my SD card with all my holiday photos, but if you want to, I can try to dig them up online) I could also exchange some flight experiences I made when flying a plane or if you'd like me to, I could try to cook for you :)
