Just being is not enough. It is important to live. The greatest manifestation of it is travelling, meeting new people, exploring new places, learning about new cultures, seeing different life styles, enjoying fantastic views, leaving a part of yourself behind and in return getting new ones. :)

Rescue scuba diver, who loves the sea, so I've also learnt how to surf. I took every possibility to drive to the seaside, so it's good that I now leave by it.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I've just registered on the CS community, but I've slept on my share of couches and inflatable mattresses from Finland to Australia. :)

- Czech Republic

- ...

Sometimes, there was no couch available at that particular moment, so airports, train stations, rest stops on motorways and other locations around Europe also offered an acceptable sleeping location. One time I even slept with the homeless people next to the triumphal arch in Marseilles.

In return, my couch, bed and inflatable mattress offered a temporary resting place to the people from all over Europe, many times.

Basically, for the last 10 years I am more or less involved in couch surfing, so it's time to join the community as well. :)

Música, películas y libros

Folk music (guitar) taking me to places. I think the movie choices are easy and there's a whole list of my "Classics" from Into the Wild to The Way, the "Before trilogy", The Beach, The Art of Travel, The Way Back, The Last King of Scotland, Chocolat, etc. etc. You get the idea. The movies I shouldn't be watching as they destroy my motivation for work. :)

Books, I usually go with history novels and fiction. :)
