About Me
Hello my future hosts and surfers
Just finished my 80-day trip in February. Personally thinking, this trip means a lot to me, each trip means a lot though.
80-day trip has been the longest trip so far. There is a book named travel around the world 80 days, this is the reason why I made it so. Honestly, before starting this trip, I suppose it would be my last time to Indonesia, the trip would be with the perfect period, the perfect semicolon instead. The main purpose to live in Yogyakarta for 45 days is to learn Bahasa Indonesia. Meeting for wonderful people with the wonderful coincidence.
Thanks to Maya and her family, I met her in front of her house accidentally when I had no idea where my homestay was. What she did was sending me to where I lived with the special guide her mom. After knowing my purpose learning Bahasa, she even invited me to have a dinner with her family at that night in order to give me so advice. I do love this coincidence.
Here is another beautiful coincidence, I met a girl who was doing her internship at the immigration office. She helped me to find a shop to print my flight ticket, then we change our phone numbers. This is how we get familiar with. Quite amazing, isn’t it?
On the following each Monday, she took me to the spots where she likes, the mountain, the beach, even hanging out her friends. I still remember the last night in Jogja, she took me to the mountaintop at night, the mountain is tall enough to view the whole Jogja city. The night view was amazing, staying with her made the night much more amazing. Almost forgot to write down her name, my friend Anggi.
I am able to speak the basic Bahasa right now ( saya bisa berbicara sedikit bahasa indoesia). I suppose I’ll be back in the near future.
45 days in Indonesia is just one part of this wonderful trip.
Staying in Thailand for a month, meeting my host Boom, talking a lot, getting along well. We still keep in touch recently, glad to know she has a plan coming to Australia.
I’ve been on the road for almost 3 year, cannot keep traveling every single day, but having a trip from time to time is enough for me, meeting wonderful people, making the local friends, having the unforgettable conversation, etc.
Seriously, this trip confirmed my determination to host traveler in Brisbane the city where I stay and live. I still can travel this way.
PHILOSOPHY
Collecting all the beautifies on the road is in order to conquer all the imperfection around us.
