About Me

I am Ayça, I enjoy exploring, having fun, finding peace, and discovering myself on this journey called life. Five years ago, after overcoming breast cancer, I gained a new perspective on life and began healing myself spiritually as well.

I am deeply passionate about all forms of art: a literary masterpiece, a piece of music that touches my soul, the overwhelming emotions evoked by a painting, or the grandeur of certain architectural works. These all inspire and move me profoundly.

I believe our world is full of incredible places. Traveling allows me not only to witness these wonders but also to meet amazing people. It helps me expand my mind, challenge my boundaries, and become more understanding and open-minded toward people and social dynamics.

I studied landscape architecture and worked for 13 years in architectural firms in Istanbul, designing buildings. Later, I pursued my true passion by studying sociology, earning a teaching certification, and delving into child development. I have strong communication skills with children and adolescents, and I aspire to work with them.

I feed my soul through psychology, philosophy, sociology, art, and literature. I strongly believe that we are not here just to work; life has so much more to offer.

I try to live respectfully toward nature and all living beings, qualify to honor my existence. And I know that this journey of learning and growth will never truly end…

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really don't like travelling like a tourist, i want to be like local people, like not going so touristic places for some beer, i wanna hang around like common people in the city...so i need CS friends who give me some tricks..And aslo it is nice to talk about the culture and other staff like; what's going on at your country, how do you feel about living that city etc...
