Overview
About Me
Currently a student of recycling and Waste Management in Magdeburg, Germany. So I'm naturally very invested in all topics regarding the Environment.
I do not like to rush and enjoy good company, nature, good books and leaning new things.
I explore places by walking around and looking closer at things that interest me. I also love getting your favourite recommendations!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
First things first - I want to be honest with you: one of the main reasons I am on couchsurfing is because it makes travelling so much more affordable. Another reason is that I usually travel alone and enjoy company and knowledge about the city from other people. Everyone has another view and experience with their/ or their visited country/cities and I enjoy sharing these memories or explore new ones together. I try to do host as well. Come visit me in Magdeburg - it's not very big but it has some sweet spots to discover :)
Interests
Some things that i've taken up but am in now means an expert in but very much enjoy doing are:
*powerlifting
*bouldering
*swimming
*dancing (bachata, salsa)
*cycling
*hiking
*cooking
For cooking specifically, I feel like I cook best without a recipe and with whatever is left in my fridge. Just a bit of a creative approach.

Music, Movies, and Books
I couldn't tell a favourite of anything straight away.
Since I tend to forget the title of the books I read and the movies I watched I usually end up remembering specific parts of the plot
So to speak there is this book I remember it was written in parts of 140
characters (just as used in twitter) and i remember really liking it. (found out its black box by jennifer eagan)
Or the one where people where classified by there abilities to see colours. (shades of grey by jasper fforde - an no not 50 of them)
Update: Since I started noting the titles of the books I read, some of the ones I recently enjoyed: Predictably Irrational. The Hidden Forces That Shape Our Decisions by Dan Ariely, Knud Rasmussen by Düngel Gilles and Rekunstruktion by Ivan Binar
Movies are more a side thing for me. Though I can recommend on Netflix: That Girl in Yellow Boots, Toc Toc – Eine obsessiv unterhaltsame Komödie, Jago: A Life Underwater, Tallulah, Our Brand Is Crisis, Hope, Luca tanzt leise, Das Floß, Kaptn Oskar
I listen to (almost) all kinds of music, I am listening across all genres and languages.
My Spotify Account is a mess...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I honestly have seen a lot of amazing things and am not sure if I want to pick favourites.
But what left impression where definitely seeing the three Mountain Ranges (Himalaya, karakoram, Hindukusch) in northern Pakistan and the night sky over mongolia.
Teach, Learn, Share
Not much to teach but a lot to learn.
I am glad about every single piece of knowledge and curious about almost everything.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I do know how to cook and even though i am not a professional i'd love to share a few of my favourite dishes with you :)
